Healthy Home Event #4: Green Flooring Options

  • Dan Harrington, Director of Architectural Sales and Product Development for EcoTimber. Dan sits on the U.S. Green Building Council’s Technical Advisory Group for Certified Wood
  • Greg Snowden, owner and founder of Green Fusion Design Center. Greg has over 25 years experience in the building industry and is an expert on green materials.
  • Brian Cox, Marketing Manager and Product Development Specialist from Nature’s Carpet has over 35 years experience in wool carpet production.

Topics for discussion included:

  • Cork, Linoleum, Carpet, Hardwoods, Bamboo and Concrete
  • How to know if a wood product is genuinely eco-friendly
  • Indoor Air Quality Issues and choosing healthy materials
  • Durability, installation methods, and green finishes
