The Tibetan Nepalese rug and its versatility are receiving increasing attention in the United States' decorative market with its endless range of interpretive patterns whether playful, intricate or boldly stylized, these rugs suit a myriad of decorative environments. A Tibetan rug is forever, timeless and traditional, each a masterpiece of styling and textural magnificence created from a wealth of inspiration past and present. More than 3000 hours of manual hand-labor is required to produce just one 9' x 12' rug, a labor of love. A Tibetan rug begins with collecting the finest Tibetan wool and transporting it across the mighty Himalayas to Nepal.

Made entirely by hand, each rug reflects the artisan's personal touch and style. A Tibetan rug personifies dedication towards excellence and time-honored traditions. Each rug is a manifestation of the ancient rug-weaving techniques of Tibet that have remained unchanged for the past several centuries.

Every rug in our collection is a masterpiece in its own rightful way that manifests the spirit and the craft of an art inspired by the exotic and rich culture of Tibet.

Options

Designs range from adaptations of traditional Tibetan motifs to an assortment of contemporary freeform patterns. You may choose from our design stock or request a custom design of your own creation.
